Hot Air, 2012-2013. (with Dr. Kimberley Wade)
Description:
A.R. Hopwood paid for Dr. Kim Wade to go on a hot air balloon ride and asked her to document it with a SenseCam (a camera that takes a photo every 30 seconds). It was in response to a false memory experiment she designed where she convinced 50% of her participants that they had been on a hot air ballon when they were young (when they hadn't) by showing them doctored photographs of the experience. Archival Information
Video is a digital file, the Kim Wade photo print is printed on Fuji Archival Semigloss at Tapestry Photography London (020 3675 3688) and mounted on Dibond. It is recessed in a glassless wooden frame made by Jacksons in East London (020 7729 4230). The Fax is printed on Epson Archival Matte and is in an archival quality frame/mount made by Jacksons.

Additional information:
The digital files for each part of the work will be provided alongside the framed hard copies, should repairs ever need to be made. The title should be clearly visible to the audience during any public display. Projector for the video work is included in the price.
